Hello Everyone!
I’ve just released v1.0.2 for those users who wish to use the plugin but are trapped into PHP v4.3 or greater. Sadly there are still hosting companies out there using PHP 4 but now that support is officially over let’s hope they invest in the upgrade.
Also for those users on the cutting edge with WP v2.7.1 I’ve also verified that the plugin still works and updated accordingly so no need to fret there. Of course WP v2.8 is on its way but that’s another story.
Thanks for all the positive feedback… and whether you hate it or not keep it coming, I’m happy to hear from you!
Best Regards,
Paolo

Hi,
I am using Page Blocks and recently upgraded to WordPress 2.8. Now, the widgets displayed on whichever page was last edited in the admin console display on EVERY page.
If, for example, I add Widget1 and Widget2 to the bottom page blocks on Page1 those two widgets will display on EVERY page.
Then, if I go in and switch the active page to Page2 and add two other widgets (widget3 and widget4) to Page2 and go back to the site, Widget3 and Widget4 will display on every page.
Any ideas? Advice?
Thanks,
Darren

Hi Mark, Darren, and anyone else interested,
I haven’t had a chance to look into changes made in WP v2.8 yet, nor tested the plugin with this version, but I hope to soon. I’ll post a message once I know if anything has to be changed and a new version is released.
Thanks also Darren for the info. I’ll look into what could be causing the problem you reported.
Regards,
Paolo

Hi. I’m on 2.8. If I add widgets to page blocks on a particular page, page blocks deletes all other widgets on other pages. It doesn’t allow widgets to exist on left/right sidebars once I add widgets to page blocks.
If I try to add the widgets back to the sidebars they only go back on the page I added page blocks to, I can’t select my home page (not an available option) or find any other way to add widgets to sidebars globally.
I love this plugin and would really like it to work with 2.8.

I am using 2.8. When I add a widget to one page, it will show in all pages.

Hi Poalo
Looks like a great plugin I will keep an eye for the 3.8 compatible version.
If you look at the studio wordpress templates. They seem to have resolved the front page block on there corporate templates
I’m adding to my favorite
Keep up the good work
Sly

I have the same problem as Paya.m and Darren. In WP 2.8 the widgets are showing up on all pages, even though only one page is checked to show them.

looks like this is going to be an amazing plugin, but I too get the error that it shows up on every page of a site with wp 2.8

so it looks like this doesnt work for 2.8 and isnt being updated? What a shame.
